Be prepared and help raise awareness!
Whether you're just walking the dog or going on holiday, make sure you're prepared for a tick encounter by owning a Tick remover. Ticks can still be active at very low temperatures. The Tick Twister can be used safely on pets and people and currently is the only tool we recommend.
Why not help to raise awareness by wearing our smart awareness-ribbon-style Lapel pin. It's a great way to introduce the subject of ticks to people. If you have a car, we just the Car sticker for you!
Help young children to be tick aware. Our Children's book, Jack, Scruffy and the ticks, is a gentle story to teach children about ticks and how to stay safe.
If your job or regular hobbies take you into tick habitat, our Alert Card will help to warn medical staff that you may have been exposed to tick bites, if you are taken ill.
Lyme disease cases in Scotland
If you were bitten and infected in Scotland, the University of Aberdeen and the Macaulay Institute would like information about your case for a research project they are conducting. Further details.
