The BADA-UK web site is committed to ensuring access for people with disabilities. Each page on our website will conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level Double-A, wherever possible.

The one checkpoint that some users may feel that we haven’t achieved is WCAG 1.0 checkpoint 14.1: “Use the clearest and simplest language appropriate for a site’s content”. Due to the medical and scientific nature of some of the information in the site, we feel that it would be neither possible nor appropriate to use simple language on all pages.

Even so, where pages about general awareness and defence against ticks are concerned, we have made them as easy to read as possible.

If you find any pages that you feel could be clearer, or have any other difficulties accessing information on the site, please do get in touch to let us know.
